Flavien Berger :

It is hard to describe this new UFO of the French musical scene. Flavien Berger is the new critics’ darling since he release “Leviathan”. This brilliant all-rounder started his first electro sounds on his PlayStation… He will release his album “Contretemps” on the 28th of september and according to les Inrocks, it is “most certainly one of the most beautiful album created in France in the past years”. But seeing him live is where the real emotional rollercoaster happens. You will get the chance to get a glimpse of his show and his upcoming album at the FiftyFifty Session before his live show at the Botanique on the 22nd of november.

David Numwami:

David Numwami is a young multi-talented singer-songwriter and producer.
Previously performing under the moniker “Le Colisée”, David established his sense for finess and restraint like the subtlety of an acrobat on the tightrope of modernity.
Over the past 2 years, he has been a touring musician to Charlotte Gainsbourg and Frànçois and the Atlas Mountains, written two tracks on Moodoïd’s latest album, spent time in the studio with Nicolas Godin (Air) and Xavier Veilhan (Biennale de Venise), remixed Ricky Hollywood and worked closely with Belgian locals Teme Tan and Samuelspaniel.
Skilfully slaloming between Pop Music and experimentation, David is slowly stepping into the destiny of his God given name – Numwami – which literally means “This is the King David ».
He will prove it to you on the 25th at the FiftyFifty, release day of his news track: “Le Fisc de l’Amour”. David Numwami will play as support act for Etienne Daho on the 16th of october at Theatre Sebastropol in Lille
