Oscillating between neo-soul and alternative rnb, Brussels-based artist STACE began her musical journey at the age of 4. Her father, a trained bassist, introduced her to improvisation on his favourite jazz standards. It’s through her compositions, which are as rich as they are minimalist, and in a visual universe of her own making, that she reveals herself, in a style that always rings true and comes from the heart. Her music references great names – from D’Angelo to H.E.R. – but is surprisingly fresh in its approach.
Her singles ‘Mellow’ and ‘Void’ have already earned her gigs and appearances at Couleur Café and SupaFly presents, among others, and her debut EP ‘Green Onyx’ is available on all platforms.
