ML are the initials for the first names of Maria-Laetitia Mattern, singer-songwriter from Brussels. She started to write in French to express the immediacy of doubts and torments in her mother tongue. Raw and sensitive, instinctive and without calculation, her second EP ‘Ailleurs n’existe pas’ speaks of vital momentum, of the urgency of living « here and now ». ML is now on the move, searching, mixing pop with indie/rock inspirations. Imagining her compositions on guitar or piano, inspired by the effervescence of the city.
