A sister? A best friend? A shaman? A shrink? Twenty-three-year-old Zaho de Sagazan’s electro-dark songs, at the unlikely crossroads of Barbara and Koudlam crossroads of Barbara and Koudlam, Christophe and Cold Cave, introspective French chanson and Kraftwerk-derived electronica. And her voice carves up feelings, ravaging the quiet seductions seductions of the chanson de fille.
